Ask The Umpire Rule One

This section contains questions pertaining to MLB Rule One – Objectives of the Game. It is designed as a self-test to challenge your knowledge. Answers  and rulings are given at the end.

1.  A team is coached by a former all-star first baseman. He teaches his team to field with a first baseman’s mitt. He wants all of his fielders to use that style glove when playing defense?
